The Tour of Taiwan snack box is our most comprehensive Taiwanese subscription snack box yet! Travel with us around the island of Taiwan as we visit twelve different regions of the island.
Each month you will receive one (1) Taiwanese snack box filled with unique and delicious treats. City and county regional information is also included, and you can trace your steps on the free wall map included in your initial box. Each month, you will find a special sticker featuring a landmark from that month's region, which can be placed upon your wall map. A free specialty gift representing the region can also be unearthed in each box.
Taiwan is known for its focus on food tourism; providing a unique variety of treats to your door each month. Each box contains sixteen (16) items. The contents of our Tour of Taiwan snack box journey is as follows:
All twelve months will include the following classic Taiwanese snacking staples:
- Prince Noodles (2)
- Pineapple Cake
- Nuts / Dried Peas Snack (2)
Each box will also include items from the following categories:
Seasonal Chips
Within each box is a (1) full-sized package of seasonal chips. These are generally limited edition flavours from popular brands. Included are such wild and wacky flavours as Clam Linguine, Sichuan Hot Pot, Garlic Shrimp, and Beef Noodle-flavoured chips.
Traditional Snacks
Our Tour of Taiwan subscription boxes also include one (1) full-sized mystery bag of traditional Taiwanese snacks, which changes each month. These popular snacks are those that every Taiwanese person has enjoyed as a child, such as the Oyster Omelette Chips and Prawn Crackers. Also included is one (1) smaller / medium sized bag of popular Taiwanese crunchies.
Tea
Every Tour of Taiwan box also includes three (3) tea bags. Taiwan is famous for its tea, though roughly 97% of its tea remains within the country, to be consumed by the locals. Each month you will receive three different tea bags so that you can sample tea such as Alishan High Mountain Tea, Black Tea from Sun Moon Lake, and Oolong Tea.
Chocolates, Candy, and Gum
Many people are likely unaware of Taiwan's budding chocolate market, but in PingTung County, situated in southern Taiwan, chocolate production has become recognized internationally. Similarly, Taiwan has a lot of fun and wacky types of candy, such Hi-Chew, which is known for its fun fruit flavors such as Passion Fruit and Guava. In addition, some unique and interesting types of gum, such as coffee-flavored chewing gum, have become popular in Taiwan recently. Each month you will receive two (2) fun and unique items from this category.
Drink
Every Tour of Taiwan snack box includes one (1) popular Taiwanese beverage, which will surely quench your thirst! Popular drinks include exotic fruit juices, such as mango, guava, and starfruit juice, Supao (a sports drink), and famous Taiwan milk tea.
Instant Noodles
As instant noodles were invented by a Taiwanese man, fanciful Taiwanese instant noodles will find their way into your treat box. With a wide array of flavours and styles, there is an instant noodle to suit every taste! Each month you will receive one (1) special flavor of Taiwanese instant noodles.
Dinner Time
Rustle up a hearty Asian-style meal in no time! Spices and sauces to create soups and stir fry dishes are now within your reach. One (1) spice packet or sauce will appear in each box, allowing you to share a delicious Taiwanese-style meal with your family or friends.
Postcard
Every Tour of Taiwan box includes a special postcard from that region of Taiwan. Learn about famous Taiwan landmarks and share with friends!

Shipping Information
If you are already a subscriber, your subscription box will be shipped out on the fifth of each month. If the fifth falls on a weekend, the box will be mailed out the following business day.
For new subscribers, your first Tour of Taiwan box will mail out on either the fifth or the twentieth of the month, depending on your order date.
